How Fyrgast Came to Be
In 2017, our founding engineers were frustrated. They'd watched geothermal projects stall because site assessments were either oversold or undersized. Geological surveys would be incomplete. Turbine specs wouldn't match the actual heat resource. Developers would over-promise timelines and underdeliver results.
Fyrgast was built to fix that. We started with deep-well thermal auditing—rigorous geological and engineering analysis that tells you exactly what your property can produce. From there, we expanded into turbine maintenance, heat grid design, and full-system commissioning.
Today, we've completed 47+ projects across Canada, from municipal district heating in Ottawa to industrial binary-cycle systems in British Columbia. Our team brings 25+ years of combined geothermal and HVAC engineering experience, and every project is guided by one rule: honest data first, feasibility always.
